Mac Office X users would be surprised to learn that!

Of course, if MS Office were a separate company, there would probably also be Java and Linux and Palm versions of Office available for purchase. They would quite likely make a lot of money too. But that will never happen (which is bad for consumers) unless the States prevail in their antitrust case against MSFT.

<< so you can say that msft has only one profitable business. >>

False (many of the businesses you consider as non-businesses have the ability to overtake ORCL in terms of revenue and perhaps earnings ie. MSN and .Net)
