Re proposed National ID card...there are many things to consider first BEFORE we start penalizing the citizens of this country -- some things to consider: `` We could start immediately requiring every, EVERY, person entering this country who is NOT a citizen to have not only a Visa, but a National ID card. And we should track them. ``We could next issue a National ID card to the several million illegal aliens currently in this country. Question: What would be the difference between a National ID card and a US Passport? ``We should ask our House and Senate to: a) Find out WHY and HOW only 5 of the known hijackers had a legal SS number. Evidently the rest had SS numbers, BUT they weren't legal. How did that happen. b) Find out WHAT type of ID is currently required to obtain a State drivers license. For each state. Birth certificate? SS number? Nothing? c) And perhaps while we are doing this, we can find out what proof of identity and citizenship EACH registered voter has shown.... Perhaps this entire process should be looked at again as well.
