Tony - AMD RESTATES their CPU shipments in Q3 2001 !!!

AMD claimed to have shipped RECORD NUMBERS of CPUs in Q3 2001 - when they announced their earnings report.

Now, they are telling a DIFFERENT STORY in their SEC 10-Q filing !!!

Total PC processor unit sales were relatively flat compared to the second quarter of 2001

How about that - they are BACK TRACKING on their Q3 report already.

Looks like even AMD is confused with the new QuantiMath - they can't even count correctly !!
