Hi unclewest; Well said. It's a lot easier to be bloodthirsty when you don't have the guy right in front of you, obviously human, scared and beaten.

P.S. I saw the "spooks" on TV last night, and they didn't look like SF to me. Maybe I think SFs are skinnier than they actually are. But they say that TV puts a few pounds on ya.

RE:but in a post i made discussing killing after the battle, you said that you would kill them all even if they surrendered.

I don't think so, please go and twist someone else's words.
Don't try to put whatever guilt you have on to me.

RE:you suddenly discovered you are too old to do it.

Yet another twisting of my words. I said that I was too old for the Army to take me, not that I'm too old to fight people who have been oppressing me. Luckily for me, my family and friends and other US citizens, nobody has been. My main point was that we shouldn't judge the Afghanis who are killing the Taliban. Also I see no parallel to the atrocities committed by Calley and others in Vietnam. Were the Vietnamese oppressing us?
I see no point in continuing this conversation with you as I am tired of you not reading my posts correctly. As I said earlier, if you want to twist words, go twist someone else's.
