Sadat--you mean arafat? If so he may turn out to be the last best hope for peace along with sharon(gulp). If they could ever guarantee peace and recognition and an end to new settlements there could be some hope.

Knip,
The turkey takeover of iraqs northern kurdish area perhaps in conjunction with iran could lead to the creation of a Kurdish state which would solve the Kurdish problem for all three states. Iran in the south has shiite bretheren that were gassed by saddam in their war. That leaves a small rump state of Iraq. I dont know if this solution really works or not.
All i know that the destruction of the twin towers must be avenged by the destruction of the twin Devils--saddam and binladen. mike

The Kurds have been as much a pain in the ass to Turkey as to Hussein. Was Malcolm thinking that there could be a separate Kurdish state using part of Turkey but mostly northern IRAQ?
