Most illegal aliens are not threats to national security, at least as I perceive it. I perceive national security to mean threats of violence, at worst, and damage to property, at least. Illegal aliens, for the most part, work hard. I have seen studies which show that they pay more in tax than they receive in welfare-type benefits, so they contribute more than they consume. Maybe this isn't the case in California.
