Most illegal aliens are not threats to national security, at least as I perceive it. I perceive national security to mean threats of violence, at worst, and damage to property, at least. I consider border control a basic function of national security. I don't feel threatened by California gardeners from Mexico, either, but I think that national security requires that we at least know who is here. That includes both gardeners and Al Qaida cell members. If the gardeners can get in and function, so can the cells. Karen
