Did you just make that up?

From all accounts, the Arabs did not put up a fuss about accepting Jews (there may have been others who were not Jewish) fleeing that nut from Europe.

What the Arabs were concerned about were the unlimited immigration policies the British were pressured to accomodate the Zionists (by violence if you are/were not paying attention).

Re: Rights? Rights to be in a constant state of war, instead of living side by side, with the Israelis, in peace and prosperity?

LOL! Gimme a break, Bob... If there's anyone who doesn't want peace in the Middle East, it's the Zionists. You should have read my post #8726:

Message 16660886

Now, think of it, Bob: the re-inventing of Israel as a recreational resort (like Monaco, Macao, Las Vegas, you name it) will have deep-reaching ripples throughout the Israeli fabric. First, vested interests in the military-industrial complex will have to cope with a peaceful region that no longer needs their military build-up. Second, the transformation of Israel into a leisure enclave for Russian and Saudi idle rich will throw Israel into a "midlife crisis" of her own... Indeed, for idealistic youths it's much more alluring to emigrate to an endangered country and enrol in its prestigious army than to apply for a barman job in a five-star hotel in a den of iniquity... That's why Israel's ruling circles want war, they need it: a continuous, Orwellian state of war with its neighbors is in a stratocracy's best interest. So far, Israel still clings to the romantic Zionism of her founders, and her politics is firmly in the grip of retired generals and intelligence officers. Ariel Sharon and his folks don't want their country be run by casino owners and hotel managers (like Macao and gambling tycoon Stanley Ho).

Gus

--The Arab rejection of the Jews, after the Holocaust, was an inhuman show of racist hatred, at a depraved level. The Arabs behaviour was, and is, disgusting. Instead of hands of friendship, the Arabs chose hatred and murder.

there's something to be said for that. the arabs can't seem to get their act together. why is that? is it u.s. meddling or something else?

look at these arab countries ... all surrounding israel but none willing to take the palestinians in.

perhaps we should invade lebanon and put the palestinians there and make it the 51st state.

i wonder if israel would ever want to be a state? then we could pack the place full of armored cavalry and from there take over the arabian penninsula.

we really should have taken the place over and made it just the u.s. and israel in '91.

we could have had theme parks in those desert sands!!

that meteorite in the saudi temple must be a trip!! they could charge $10 to see it!!
