Darleen, education is where you find it. A Toronto grade five student is quoted in the Globe and Mail today, regarding the forthcoming release of the Harry Potter movie saying, "The excitement growing in us is unspeakable."

Unfortunately, mal-education is also where you find it. I think damage to education is being done in the education faculties of universities where far too much money is being spent. And in schools where janitors are paid nearly as well as teachers. In school systems that have been captured by unions and other special interest groups and where the administrator to teacher ratio is far too high. Far too much money is spent in these places even if there would be no corruption as outlined in the story posted by Ah. The money attracts careerists/opportunists and they're usually no damn good at the main job, whatever the field.
