Jacob re: best gold/silver "vehicles" ?

... I think most would agree now that NEM will become the clear Institutional fav post the merger with Normandy & Franco Nevada.

NEM will emerge with a better balance sheet, have nearly $1 B in cash and become "THE" 800 lbs unhedged/POG levered GORILLA-GOLD investment vehicle - and the clear institutional large cap fav' - so if you buy/own just one Gold stock... it'd be hard to argue against it being NEM.

Like most here on this thread; I stick with the un-hedged producers:

I own NEM (buying calls/leaps on any & all weakness), GG, KGC (adding strongly here too) AEM, GOLD & HGMCY (trimmed a lot on the move to $6) - as my core holds and bits of MDG GLG (traded out of these two on this summers earlier run & rotated to HGMCY at the fall to $4.50 - then flipped HGMCY at $6 & bought more NEM on it's pullback... NEM's my largest hold now).

I also own a little FCX (political risk, but cheap) and DROOY (drooy to remove all hedges sooner than thought and highly levered to POG moves)... in Silvers; I'm mainly holding PAAS (adding strong here on any/all weakness - load thy boat sub $3)... with a little SIL & CDE (added more cde here of late)...it's hard to ignore that the Silver's have traditionally outperformed the gold stocks on most PM cycles.

I'm also planning on buying a decent position of physical SILVER on a break sub $4.

Russ Winter may have some Juniors/Exploration picks as well...I just don't follow them closely...Russ comments on a watch/buy list ?

Good Luck
