OFF TOPIC - WARNING- lawyer talk
Please skip if easily offended by legalese
(Hey Chris - we better take this outside, the folks may get upset)
This has been my experience:
Here in Conn. if we get a default judgment we have to take it to the state of the offender and essentially start all over again. A default judgment can't be used to recover anything outside our state. Unless you do that, you have a nice fat juicy judgment that's worthless.
Regarding unsolicited faxes, I've heard this is possible for unsolicited phone calls also, if you log the dates and times of the calls.
