Anyone who feels safer now that the Federal Government is taking charge of Airport Security, should stop and consider what a great job they are doing at the borders.

This is *really* upsetting...Wonder when this jerk came to this country, and how? We need to get really serious really fast about letting OBL's and Saddam's nabobs into this country.... We need an ID (fingerprint, retina or DNA) for EVERY person who is NOT a citizen who enters and leaves the US, imo. The citizens of the US can use a passport to enter and leave.

I wonder what, if any role that false I.D. card played in the 9.11 hijacks. Probably none. The terrorists already were in the country. They could pay cash for a plane ticket.

We need to focus on keeping illegal aliens out in the first place, and restricting and monitoring those who come in with visas.

This particular instance of a false i.d. after gaining entry seems to me to be a red herring. Can somebody explain its relevance to 9.11?
