T, I did the same thing with the 1974 market bottom. Of course, I was a Civil Servant at the time and didn't have huge resources, so I needed to magnify them. It was amazing how many people told me I was nuts to borrow money to buy stocks. Then, at the top, how many said I was nuts to use no leverage when the returns were so high. Maybe they just think I'm nuts in any environment.

We have problems with Fed calls here every day. What a pain in the nostrils. A lot of it has to do with securities being held in cash accounts when something is purchased in the margin account. You would think that would be an automatic transfer. But you would think wrong.
