Sorry....you misunderstood me. What I said was that the 9/21 low was confirmed on price and volume signals I've followed for 6 years, along with sentiment numbers like the VIX, IIA and others. Runs off those signals usually last 3-9 months. I've never seen a run that didn't correct along the way. Maybe this is a first.

I have no idea, at this point, when this run will end and an intermediate term turn to the downside will start. But, I'll be looking for things to be similarly extreme to other intermediate term turns to the downside I've seen since I've been watching such things. That probably means a VIX down around 20 or below, IIA numbers with over 50% bulls and under 35% bears, and price and volume indications of distribution in the indices.

BTW, why did you abandon the long side several weeks ago? I never did understand your analysis. Thanks.
