To shoot someone in the back is an act of cowardice. What OBL did is akin to this.

To confront someone who has just shot your loved one in the back is not an act of cowardice. What the US has done is akin to this.

This has nothing to do with ideologies. There was no warning from Al Qaeda that they were going to attack NYC and Washington D.C. The U.S. gave weeks of advance warnings as well as opportunities to stop the impending attack. These are fundamental differences in the engagement that make OBL's actions that of a coward.

Bringing our generals into the discussion is a red herring and pointless.
