I am not sure that it was the Fed money causing the topping delay here (if indeed it is just a week or two of delay), I think that the exogenous events unfolding in Afghanistan, namely the much more rapid collapse of theTalibans than anyone expected. I thought that the market had digested some minor small victories and expected a lull after the conquests in the north. The market did not discount the full collapse so rapidly. Now, I think that the market has already assumed the demise of Bin ladin, and when that, hopefully, happens, there might actually be sell the news.
