Thanks, well... I had one of those 8 millimeters for years. And I was thinking I would rather shy away from the transfer medium hassles. So, I was looking at the mini VHS-C or Super VHS-C's. But, honestly I don't know too much about either medium to make an informed decision yet. Not sure if I want to go the digital route with a camcorder. A summary of plusses and minuses would be helpful. I'm not in a big hurry, as long as I have one in hand by XMAS! Thanks, I'll check out the site and do some snooping around the net. Mike
