Amen to that.

I bought their top of the line Pavilion with more bells and whistles than I thought I would ever need.

Everything inside the machine is proprietary - meaning if something goes wrong, it has to be replaced with an HP part.

The hard drive crashed after 9 months and had to be replaced. Took 3 days to get the drive.

The HP printer and the HP scanner are in conflict with each other because they both access the same IRQ and I have to go in and manually change it.

They charge $25 for the first half hour for a service call - even tho the problem is theirs. Their service jockeys work from a script and if the problem isn't in their script then that's as far as they can go. You can't get bumped up higher to someone who knows what's happening.

I will never again buy an HP product!
