They must be shipping production units to make a statement like that. Otherwise it would be a bald-faced lie.

They didn't say what kind of contribution Itanium was making to the bottom line. It is certainly negative as best I can see. I see no hope for it to become positive in the near future.

The difference between a 'Production Unit' and a Sample is the name attached. (I've been involved in software like that ;-].)

I've also been wrong before.
