"none think homosexuality is a choice" Because I have spent my life with children/adults with various disabilities, I find it difficult to say definitively that "all" homosexuality is a choice. We still know so little about the formation of boy/girl in the immediate moments/months of life. However, I do question the number of homosexuals who appear to choose the "gay" lifestyle at such an early age. We would know so much more if it became "politically correct" to be open in our discussions and research and discover whether all/some are influenced by circumstances and/or emotional needs. Marie

The search for a cause or causes has been going on for years. To search only for a genetic cause and not find one would convince people like you that it is a choice. But fear not, the genetic research is being done for everything and to my knowledge a homosexual gene has not shown up yet. Someone on this thread said it is a continuum. I tend to agree based on perusal of the personal ads in newspapers. Look yourself and you will find as many bisexual ads as homosexual. Now can you give me one single reason why anyone would choose to be homosexual??? Do you consider bisexuals to be homosexuals? Caution, I might ask you who is a Jew (the Nazi's had a formula).
