Yes, it is pitiful...you see Athlons and P4s lined up based on Mhz (priced accordingly)...but the P4s are all w/SDRAM...which usually makes the fastest P4 slower (Usually a 1.8) than the old 1 Ghz Thunderbird...

I hear Intel i845 DDR enabled motherboards are ready to ship. AMD had it their way for a year vs the P4 and still couldn't overcome Intel PR...

RE:"Everything listed is SDRAM but one! The Celeron system would be the better buy for the money/performance wouldn't it?"

The 1.1 and 1.2 Ghz Celerons are not a bad deal. Especially if you overclock them using the bus speed. 256k L2 cache makes them the equal of the P-III cept for the
1.4 Ghz is not out of the question, even 11 x 133.33 = 1466 Mhz.
A much better deal than a P4 on anything.

Steve, Re: "The Celeron system would be the better buy for the money/performance wouldn't it?"

Value CPUs are generally better price / performance. Isn't that the same with Duron vs Athlon?
