Jim, >Yes, it is pitiful...you see Athlons and P4s lined up based on Mhz (priced accordingly)...but the P4s are all w/SDRAM...which usually makes the fastest P4 slower (Usually a 1.8) than the old 1 Ghz Thunderbird... I hear Intel i845 DDR enabled motherboards are ready to ship. AMD had it their way for a year vs the P4 and still couldn't overcome Intel PR... Whine, whine, whine, you want some cheese with it? You have so much whining to do that you can't get it all done on the putrified, I mean purified AMD thread?
