Now they want to surrender to the UN. How did the UN get any status from these guys all of a sudden. From a western standpoint this will not work militarily, politically, strategically, or administratively. Rumsfeld has said they have two options, unconditionally surrender or fight. I'm not liking the Taliban chances on this one.
