Eric, Re: "You think Intel is going to be getting a ~$4B year of investment income anytime soon?"

If they are successful in their newer businesses, if the networking and communications business picks up, or if higher ASP server products from the IA-64 family take off, they won't need it. There are a lot of ways for Intel to increase revenue - The only problem is that you've already discounted all of them.

Good luck with your stock purchases.

Eric - Re: "You think Intel is going to be getting a ~$4B year of investment income anytime soon?"

Who knows or cares. At least it's a safe bet that they will get there again which is something you Spam-Droids will never realize at amd. Seems foolish of you to doubt Vadasz and Intel Capital’s ability to make money. Just sit back and watch them go when this recession ends. That one little division alone will probably out earn your little loser company for years to come. Wonder what will happen to all the poor Am-Droid posters over here when their beloved company goes belly up?…become MOT-Droids or Meta-Droids.

Do you think that AMD is going to make any money any time soon. Losses for 5 of 6 years... Losses for next year.

But losers like you like losers like AMD.
