Man. Whether you guys were crashing every day or every week, you should definitely destroy your Wintel boxes and upgrade to Mac OS X. You will never crash again unless you run Internet Explorer. And even that won't bring down the system, just itself (yes, every day).

At some point, aren't you just tempted to say, okay Microsoft, you've had your chance at producing reliable and secure software products, and you failed?

Now they want to give this crashware to schoolchildren. What a self-serving load of tripe. Of that alleged billion dollars, $550 million is for Windows, which costs Microsoft ZERO. And they'll sell software packages on top of that.

They should be forced to give the schools new pianos, books, and teaching assistants.
