It is true that not all theists believe in a personal deity. However, I do not think that anyone who is truly undecided about what he thinks would engage in such ridicule......

communicates with them and gets involved in their personal lives. Not all theists subscribe to a personal god.


Maybe. I guess it depends on the definition. Theism is usually discribed as different from deism in that it is the belief in a personal God.
