Christopher, I was going to save this to reply when I get home. It is easy enough to reply to. But I realize your daughters are undoubtedly home for Thanksgiving, and you want a lovely, carefree evening. So will leave that unanswered (unless you give me an opening to do it tomorrow, of course!) and end this by saying that I know Poet never said what you said she did, and so does everyone reading this thread know it. And look at this long post you wrote. You could have included one line substantiating the calumny, and didn't. And if you don't post more on the topic, we will leave it as it is and go on from here, and you go have a nice Thanksgiving with your family. My hubby has his coat on and is looking cranky.

I doubt that you would be willing, voluntarily, to accept a limitation that if you ever post to OR ABOUT me on SI, or cite anything I have posted, that you can and will be suspended immediately. What an extraordinarily bizarre notion. If someone on SI found me sufficiently offensive to request that I not post to them, cite their posts, or whatever, I would simply put them on ignore and forget about them. What could be easier? What else could anyone with the slightest inclination toward being a gentleman do (it seems obvious to me, and my inclination toward gentlemanliness is slight indeed)? Why on earth would SI Admin ever have to get involved in such a very simple matter? Some people take this place way too seriously, which is just one of the many reasons why I have ceased to spend much time here.
