:o)

You are assuming I know more then I know.. As for 'in a threefold gloom' have no idea.. I have found two other translation where it is 'in triple darkness' and in another it is 'three veils of darkness' so I will probably have to ask some one who knows what it means..

As for cloning of humans, in my mind it is a question of morality.. Cloning is not creation.. Now man knows how to splice and dice better.. Not sure how the masses, whether Muslims or Christians will look at cloning.. How far one would go.. Would you create a clone of yourself so that you can have parts to replace as your own fail ?? Say 100 years from now.. But that is how I think.. Would you want to live forever along that line..

I don't see any dichotomy in terms of religion and science. If God is the creator, the process of creation is not limited in time and space.. It is ongoing.. and what man discovers is par of the course.. 100 years ago, one would have died very young because of any number of diseases.. Say heart trouble.. It would have been considered, God's will.. Now you have a pace maker in your heart and it keeps on chugging or any number of other advances that will let you live 30-40 years more.. Does not really mean man is becoming a God.. He has now advanced and discovered what he is allowed or supposed to is how I look at it..

HKL:

Since I am blocked/banned to post on Islam the Message thread I just wanted to thank you for asking the following simple question Message 16736244

I could not have said it any better!

Why is it that these Muslims (moderate or otherwise) insist upon educating the Non-Mulsims that their religion is NOT really that violent, and yet avoid educating their own people that Islam is supposed to be really a peaceful and loving faith?!

Speaking of which, I am yet to hear one Islamic country issuing a statement condemning the suicide attacks of the past 3 days in Israel done under the umbrella of Islam. Where are countries such as Saudi Arabia, or Iran coming out defending Islam (as the loving and peaceful religion that it is claimed to be) that what the suicide bomber thugs have done is totally against the religion of Islam and Quran? Where are they? How come no Muslim leader has spoken against such actions that have given a black eye to their claimed religion of peace and love??
