Thanks, knew that and for some reason instead of MIT put Harvard... But nonetheless, I couldn't find his salary at MIT, nor how much of it is supported by the taxpayers of the country he seems to hate.

During the year of 1955, he left his Fellowship at Harvard University and obtained a position at MIT where he taught for the next 19 years. He was also married to Carol Chomsky, a Professor at Harvard.

He joins Richard Stallman at MIT in the "uselessly tenured" department. At least Chomsky doesn't LIVE in his office, unlike Stallman.
