Goldman strategist Abby Joseph Cohen is blunt: ``Fourth-quarter earnings will be exceptionally ugly, but it won't matter to stock prices,'' she writes. ``Most investors expect improved earnings in 2002.'' > Correction... it won't matter until expectations are dashed.
