I agree with every word in your post. With the freedoms' guaranteed us by the United States Constitution, there are some responsibilities as well. One of them, in my mind, is to resist the scourge of thought control and of demonization of those who dare to disagree, whether it raises its ugly head in academe or on SI. I know it feels good to hate when one is in a state of fury. I'm sure as hell not above it. I'm just uncomfortable having all these people who are willing to call their fellow citizens and posters OBL lovers and traitors on my side. So for my own comfort I'm making clear that I'm not with the program that's going on here. 'Night, KLP.
