What I've found rather remarkable on these threads since September 11th, is how many American citizens have criticized our President's actions, motives and policies. Even while they seem to be working well.

If you consider the polls accurate, 90% of Americans basically agree with the current path our leaders have taken since September 11. Yet, the disagreeing 10% are well represented here. They have been open, and in many ways visceral.

When our nation is at war, and people's lives are at stake, you can expect sensitivities to be high.

I've seen very little *hate* expressed toward people who've disagreed with our actions, but I have seen *hatred* expressed toward our Commander in Chief by people who claim to be Americans. Many on what I would call the *cynical radical left*, can't seem to put aside ideological political differences and come together during this time of national crisis. And what I believe you've mostly seen, is a reaction toward that rift.

I posted one article here where a member of our press, (from a publicly owned station) actually said he would candidly report if he saw our special forces engaged in clandestine operations. This person would assist the enemy during a time of war, and potentially kill one of our young soldiers under the banner of "freedom of the press" to get the story out first.

There is no other word except *sedition* and *treason* to describe that kind of vile thinking.

You bet I want to silence his freedom of speech to make that report! And every thinking American who cares about our soldiers, and our national interest should too.
