I'm reading a book on bioterrorism, Living Terrors, by Michael Osterholm.

According to one study cited in the book, a release of 50kg of anthrax spores upwind of Washington, D.C., has the potential to kill between 1,000,000 and 3,000,000 people.

Very scary thought.

Now that is concerning! I just read the same thing this morning. I can't imagine that this is just some nutcase who wanted to create some havoc. It makes you wonder how many more envelopes will show up in the future. I can see someone? targeting the house/senate...even the media. But how did that 94 year old woman contract it? Perhaps that will be the key to discovering who's responsible.
