You'd have to keep a close eye on it if you got up to 3 yrs and were aiming for the 35k, but not there yet, eh? <G> --- Are you familiar with them? (Farm Bureau CC issuer) Solid, dependable outfit? It really sounds good, but the risk that they could change the terms or ??? during the time one is accumulating the 35k makes me wary. I have the LLBean card but it only gives 1/2% so I only use it for LLBean purchases. I do like the free shipping, & they give free monogramming too, when you use the card. I don't like monogrammed clothing myself, but let me see a big dog bed on a good sale in the catalog & that booger is bought, monogrammed & shipped free right now! <G> I will look into other suggestions you noted.
