I wrote a post to someone and told her that I never thought I'd have to depend upon a right-wing-conservative-extremist, like Safire... My wife has caught me muttering...I can't believe I agree with Safire...twice! I wish Congress would take the Bush administration's breach of civil liberties seriously. It might also be nice if they would remember State's rights also. There are too many members on the left and right that appear to be getting a bit edgy..Jesse Helms. I think though the Administration is going to continue to push and the more they push the more the left and right will consolidate on the point. jttmab
