I am beginning to think that the country would be better served if the President was a ceremonial figure like the Queen of England. Bush beat Gore by 500 plus votes in FLORIDA! GORE won the popular vote. Yet, Bush acts like a dictator. This country has wasted far too much time and money on Presidents. With Clinton, the country wasted millions of dollars on a special prosecutor and staff because of politics. Nothing substantial came out of it except Bill's personal relationship with Monica made the news. The President is only 1/3 of the executive branch of this country but Bush doesn't act like it and won't tell Congress what it is up to. With Clinton, Congress was too interested in his personal life. The bottom line is that Congress isn't doing a whole lot for the American people because of the various problems that we have and have had with Presidents. JMOP which is recent! (LOL)
