fyo, :) then Intel will highlight the x87 benches when the hammer comes out ( assuming that the Intel chips are better than the hammer in x87 ). I remember the days of the K6. Clock for Clock it was the PII's equal but it lacked in x87 performance. Then AMD introduced 3DNow. That evened the score but buyers still wanted x87 performance. That killed the K6 and guess what? AMD gave the K7 excellent x87 performance. It seems to me that Intel will highlight/emphasize any bench that shows a deficiency in AMD's chips. For example, the P4 has superior memory bandwidth. All the web sites go ga-ga over the Sandra memory bandwidth as if it means anything.
