Eric Chen

What a curse to have that name... I bet he gets a lot of snickers...

Tony, RE: Eric Chen's wafer data conclusions, and not to shoot the messenger, but Andy Bryant used the word "strong" three times yesterday when asked about demand.

I wasn't able to hear the presentation yesterday, and Intel hasn't gotten the archived version up yet. I'm even more curious to hear it now.

A little OT, I've often stated that the influence of analysts is vastly overrated. A glaring exception happened today with Enron. The decision by the S&P analyst to downgrade Enron to junk status single handedly killed the Dynergy merger, causing billions of market value to disappear from the Enron debt and equity in seconds. Most likely Enron will declare Chapter 11, perhaps as early as this week.
