I saw a test from the turn of the century that was geared to the 8 th grade America student and I think that 70 % of the Harvard liberal arts grads would fail it. When I finished HS in Montreal in 64 I had translated Latin and Greek prose and finished a year of Calculus and I was in the dunce class in my school. We have a lot of intelligent kids with great potential but they will never rise to that potential as long as the public school system has been hijacked by the goon squads in charge of it.
