Art, doesn't this just sound too obvious.

Lexar must look like a buffoon in court...

Pretec Electronics Corp. is the 2nd company in the world to offer CompactFlash memory card (See CompactFlash Association Web at compactflash.org since Feb. of 1996, earlier than the incorporation date of Lexar Media in California (September, 1996). Among Pretec's own patent portfolios or cross licensing agreements, US Patent Nos. 5,404,485, 5,519,843, 5,535,357, 5,799,168 were granted earlier than Lexar's incorporation date and much earlier than the granted date of Lexar's patent Nos. 5,479,638, 5,818,781, 5,907,856, 5,930,815 and 6,145,051. Pretec, Memtek and C-ONE believe that Lexar's allegations against them have no merit at all, and the court ruling is clear and strong evidence that the court intends to fully review any evidence of Lexar's allegations of infringement.
