Hello John,

Another good example is the S&P500 Banking Index $BIX.X

The weekly chart is strong and has a long way to go before reaching some classic OB areas. With strong forks.

On the daily the closest forks have held up very well...!

Been using TradeStations Speed Resistence Fan lines for insights into price and time dividing....very interesting. Have you ever spent any time with them...?

Chip

re: SOX index keeps getting support at it's 21 dma:

It also keeps getting resistance at it's 200DSMA:

In the next 1-4 weeks, the ST uptrend is going to bump up against the Longer-Term downtrend. I'm betting we are in for an extended period (all of 2002) of sideways volatility. High valuations and poor earnings are going to do battle with low interest rates, fiscal stimulus, and liquidity. The result will be: up and down and up and...........

$XBD broke below 21 day(482.8) this morning; at 464, target 50 day at 444? SCH looks weak, retrace to 11-12 area next?Same type of break for SOX
Thanks to this thread for excellent indicators.
