Karen, based upon what I believe is the spirit of the man, the President of the United States, based upon his choices, his manner, the words and way he has articulated his visions I have no fear. The President has all kinds of powers and a dishonest man can do much evil. An honest man can make mistakes and do some evil also. But this honest man my President has shown me a deep deep concern and cares about
my country and the legacy we leave our children and their children. Our President cares that our forefathers had the foresight to put into place checks and balances protecting against tyranny.

I watch with a careful eye. But I believe I can trust this President with all powers. This man is President to be a servant. And he has been a pretty civil servant.

Fair enough Karen, and I apologize for making a sweeping statement about your intentions. You have been measured in your posts and I snapped at you.

I, like yourself am concerned about the future of out country for my children's sake. If there are grave problems with these tribunals I'd like to see them ironed out and I trust they will by our process of checks and balances and more importantly, the sense of fairness and equity that is the hallmark of the American People.

Karen, the Founders gave us nothing if not an independent sovereign nation. I believe the leftys in this debate couldn't care less about whether terrorists are tried in a special tribunal or criminal courts or even if they have rights or not.

They are angry that it is being done under the sovereign authority of the United States of American and not some international body.

I care that our forefathers had the foresight to put into place checks and balances protecting against tyranny.

I care that our forefathers had the foresight to put into place checks and balances protecting against tyranny.

Last time I looked, those checks and balances were still in place, the Courts are still operating and Congress is still in session.
