They would kick me off the minute I suggest dumping most of the DCs :-)

There is no question that B2C ecommerce is way up this year for whatever reason. I notice occasional latency at the Ebay, Amazon and Yahoo shopping sites. They have come a long way in a few years. None of them have crashed. That happened occasionally in 1998-1999.
