constrained
If human rights are traded for citizen rights then the country loses any moral authority when dealing with foriegn states. America is in danger worldwide of being known as land of the hypocrits.

I think there's an argument (in addition to those offered elsewhere) in favor of military tribunals which can be developed from your comments. Wouldn't it be better to have military tribunals, as long as they are temporary and constrained as terrorism-related, and preserve the 4th amendment?

I'll support any type of trial, military or civilian, against foreign terrorism that the US wishes to pursue with only one constraint. It complies with the standards of justice that ask other countries to abide by.
