Yeah, I had a much harder time getting DSL, which is why I have cable. Covad was incompetent, and I've heard bad things about Verizon too.

Where I live they now have 4X4 boxes that have fiber input and act like little CO offices. And they give you a self install kit. No waiting.
Have DSL for almost 2 years. speed 1186 Kb vs 56 kv.
That is T1 speed !!!

i am on attbroadband network and just chatted with tech support, he said my service would not be affected whatsoever.

i was with roadrunner thru mediaone at south florida, when att bot mediaone they eventually got us on attbroadband, and then athome for a shortwhile but from what i see on tracert, we are still on att network not athome network, thus we lucked out.
