Zofsilence, Re: "I figure that some of you might have a few bookmarks you can share with a new poster"

I don't have any bookmarks, but I'm sure you can look up the old AMD CCs on JC's website (www.jc-news.com) and get a loadfull. Otherwise, Sandersisms tend to stick in people's minds. I believe I can give you a few off the top of my head if you're still interested.

Z, <<<, I'm doing a college presentation on AMD in about two weeks... >>>

You've been posting for about 6 hours, but it seems like you have been here forever.

I am sure we would all be interested in your college presentation. Perhaps, you could bounce some key ideas from a draft of your presentation on this thread. I am sure you would get some good feedback.

BTW, the "moderated" stuff sound a lot like the "guided democracy" stuff they tried to pawn off on us from Asia.

Real democracy is messy stuff, but that is also where you get the best and brightest.

The trouble with "moderated" or "guided" stuff is that there is always people who think they know what is right for everybocy else. I just don't think so.

Perhaps there is a better way, but for now, democracy is the still the best way to go.

Similarly, this thread is the way to go. There is good stuff in a lot of posts on this thread. Sure, there is a lot of garbage, but so what?
