Petrol, about your VIX chart question

The significance of the chart is that if you notice that the crossovers of the 20 and 200 day moving averages occurred at the beginning of February and the middle of May, both of which were intermediate term (6-12 weeks) market tops.

I presume that when JrEwing said "IMO she's going lower" he meant that the candlestick pattern suggests that VIX is going lower for the next couple of weeks or so and thus he feels the Dow is going higher.

BTW, if you like to look at longer term charts you might check out the McClellan Oscillator on COMP.
