My view still is that human kind, even in it's basic form, is amazing in what it can achieve. (jmho)

Yeah... look at the what the Germans accomplished under Nazism.

Look at what Stalin was able to achieve under communism.

Look what Pol Pot was able to achieve under Maoism..

But then again, despite how much he is reviled, look at what Pinochet set in place for Chile, once he left power. Chile is now one of the most stable and economically properous nations in Latin America.

I, by no means, what to see an Afghan "Pinochet" put in power, but worse is going to happen unless there is a "cooling off" period put in place for a period of several years, during which some essential services can be restored, and policemen and civil servants trained to administer the nation.

You won't have democracy so long as the N. Alliance army is providing domestic security for the nation as a police force. A democracy requires a professional army, not a politicized one. And that is not going to occur unless someone else is responsible for establishing equitable civil order and rule of law that everyone can acknowledge as being fair.

The only thing amazing is the level of naivete you display.
