To follow that reasoning, unc, you as an ex-military man would not be permitted to discuss armed hostilities, for by accepting paycheques you have profited

Marcos,
nice try.
my posts about the military have nothing to do with my pay...they have no hope of increasing my pay nor the pay of a single private or general.

OTOH your posts about Canadian lumber are specifically designed to line your pockets with gold. adopting your litany of suggestions would ensure you a greater profit...that is why they cannot be given serious consideration.

yes we are overtaxed, we know it well, please inform Ottawa of your concern

there you go again! you have another internal Canadian problem and you want Americans to fix it.

you sound like a frustrated entrepreneur overwhelmed with Canadian regulations and beat down by local heavy taxes. you are trying to compete in a larger market where you have run into even more taxes (import duties) and you don't like it.

you accept the heavy canadian tax burden because Canadian tax dollars are used to give you and your industry an advantage.
surprise!
we have no beef with that...as long as you sell your lumber in Canada. you can spend your taxes anyway you like.

it is only when you attempt to import your government supported lumber prices to America that we take issue. we think you are trying to use your tax money to export American jobs to Canada.

you have been berating America because of the duty...that is outrageous. try to look beyond your own pockets.

your problem is homegrown in Canada. heavy taxes are suppressing your entrepreneurship. heavy government subsidies to specific industries may seem swell in Canada but the price advantage will not be accepted internationally.

More and more i wonder if anyone will ever even try, and less and less do i care

good! you recognize that you lost a battle. but you are not dead yet.

you have misplaced your aggression. retreat from your attacks on America...forget what Canadian pundits say...do not accept their brainwashing...look at the big international picture. study your tax law and subsidies. redirect your attacks...don't tell me to tell Ottawa about your tax problem.

YOU tell Ottawa what YOU think about the taxes.

straighten out Canada's tax problem and much of your frustration will dissolve along with the import duty.

in my previous post i suggested you organize a Boston tea party...i was serious. it is going to take a big statement to get your oppressive, tax heavy and spend a lot, very liberal politicians to change.
alternatively you might consider organizing a Canadian national republican party.

as long as your tax rates remain too high and your government collects and uses these tax dollars to give you and your industry an unfair advantage...you will be selling your subsidized lumber in Canada.

i find it humorous that you spend so much time bellyaching and demanding that America change so you can make more money.
