Was in Robinsons May yesterday. My mom needed to buy some stuff. Women's floor was empty. Discounts: 60% off already reduced.
My thoughts: Stores that cater to retired folks are in pain. Reason: Retired can't get any income off their CD.
If you agree, what would you buy/sell?
Thanx

You seem to have missed the point. The argument was that the bond traders or holders may have sold the stock SHORT, as a hedge against the bond positions, believing as you do that it could become worthless.

The argument (which may or may not be correct) was that an important short squeeze could develop as a result.
